Grayson Highlands

This weekend campout is quite an adventure for Webelos, Rising Webelos, and their families. Activities will include biking the Virginia Creeper Trail(17mi downhill), hiking(6.5mi) in beautiful Grayson Highlands National Park and tubing(2-3hrs) down the New River.

This is not intended for first time campers and is for experienced Cub Scout campers only. This trip involves rigorous hiking and high adventure in a remote location several hours outside of Charlotte. Cub Scouting is a family activity, but any parent considering sending their child to Grayson Highlands alone must receive approval from their Den Leader and Cubmaster prior to signing up. Note that this trip may not be appropriate for younger siblings.

This is a 3-night, summertime trip to Grayson Highlands State Park.
